The need and willingness for agility in itself is not enough. Agility cannot just be simply implemented. These days openness to changes is not enough, the ability to adopt is a basic precondition of survival in the digital world. Fierce competition, disruptive business models and complex digital interactions with partners and suppliers accelerate business processes.
As Darwin said one and a half centuries ago: ”It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.”
However, this requires agile operation, infrastructure and the agile transformation of products and services while focusing on customer satisfaction.
Agility is present in an organization if we give room for the operation. To this end we have to bring down all barriers and provide the necessary environment and infrastructure. The tools are already with us and available.
