Benjámin Pataki started his career at Hewlett-Packard Hungary as a consultant for data storage solutions (presales). In 2009 he moved to the server area, first as the architect of HP-UX based business critical solutions, then - upon the merger of the industrial standard (x86) and the business critical server business units - as a general server consultant, focusing on HP’s high reliability multi-node (Service Guard for Linux based) systems. From 2013 he became an enterprise architect for the entire HPE server, storage and data center network’s hardware portfolio, first in the telecommunications industry, then from 2015 in the bank sector and finally from 2016 in the public administration area. His primary professional focus remained to work with business critical systems (SAP and SA HANA, Oracle servers). In 2018 Hewlett-Packard Enterprise customers sought to build a consultation partnership with HPE, as a producer, where not only those solutions are in focus that directly involve HPE, but also those complex problems that are only party related to hardware. This customer need brought the “HPE innovation team” into being within HPE’s Hungary where Benjámin is a founding member and currently his main task is the building and successful market entry of this team.
